NIS2, the EU directive stipulating stricter requirements for cybersecurity for hundreds of thousands of European companies, will become a legal requirement in October 2024 . An update on NIS1, the new EU directive extends the requirements for risk, asset management and business continuity plans. It also requires companies to put in place standardised incident reporting processes.
